Privacy Policy

TCG Predict is operated by August Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16843633). When this policy says "we" or "us", that is who it means.

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

• Your name and email address
• Your Google profile picture URL
• A unique Google account identifier

As you use the app, we also store data you create:

• Cards you add to your portfolio (card ID, quantity, price paid, date)
• Cards you add to your watchlist
• Any artwork scores you submit
• Search history and filter preferences within the app

We do not collect analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting data. There is no ad network on this site.

Your data is used to make TCG Predict work for you:

• Your Google info lets you sign in and identifies your account
• Your portfolio and watchlist data is stored so it persists between sessions
• Search history and usage patterns help us improve predictions and personalise your experience
• Artwork scores you submit improve the pricing model for all users

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Full stop.

TCG Predict relies on a few third-party services to function. Each one only receives the minimum data it needs:

• Google handles authentication. We use Google OAuth and receive your profile info when you sign in.
• Stripe handles payment processing for subscriptions. Stripe receives your payment card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Vercel hosts the application. Server logs may include IP addresses and are retained per Vercel's privacy policy.
• Neonprovides our database. Your account and portfolio data is stored on Neon's servers in the EU.
• Pokemon TCG API provides card data and images. No user data is sent to this service.
• eBay provides live card pricing data. No user data is sent to eBay.

We use a single session cookie managed by NextAuth to keep you signed in. That is it. No tracking cookies, no marketing cookies, no cookie banner needed.

Your account data and portfolio data are kept for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete all data associated with it within 30 days.

Artwork scores you have submitted may be retained in anonymised form after account deletion, since they contribute to the overall pricing model.

Because we are a UK company operating under UK GDPR, you have strong data rights regardless of where you live:

• Access– request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Rectification– ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure– ask us to delete your account and all associated data
• Portability– receive your data in a machine-readable format (JSON export)
• Object– object to processing of your data for specific purposes

To exercise any of these rights, email support@tcgpredict.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.

TCG Predict is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where possible, notify you via email. Continued use of TCG Predict after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
